Intimations

31st May 2026

If you are a visitor, a warm welcome!
Come along and join us for tea or coffee in the Large Hall after the morning service.

Charity Donations this week will be given to the Dalmuir Barclay Community Pantry.

This morning's service will be led by Rev. John MacGregor and Matthew Todd.

Cherry Blossom Baking Sale: after this morning's service, please come along for tea/coffee and home baking which has been organised by the Sunday Club in aid of Lorna Ferguson and her work with OMF. There will also be a book stall.

The retiring offering today will be added to the proceeds of the Cherry Blossom baking sale.

Next Sunday's services: our morning service will be a special service where we thank and encourage volunteers from our community. Full attendance would be appreciated so we can be extra special hosts. Our older children will help with leading this service. Choir meets as usual (despite Derek's leave) please sit in your usual seats so your wonderful voices can lead worship.

Our evening service is our Summer Praise and this will take place in St. Paul's at 7:00pm when we will welcome New Scottish Hymns for a concert and praise evening – entry free but donations will be welcome for 'Dwelling Places'.

Vestry Hour takes place on a Wednesday morning (10:00-12:00) in the Minister's Room at St Paul's. If you have any pastoral or spiritual concerns, both Rev. Lynsey Brennan (0744 7949301) and Rev. John McGregor (07387 851020) are there for you and to help in any way that they can. If you are aware of someone else in the church community in need of support, please also contact Lynsey, John or Hilary at the church office.

At Ease with ASD: Our support group, At Ease with ASD, is preparing to start offering childcare during the hour of the support group 1-2pm every Friday during school term time. We have a small, but mighty, team of volunteers but would gladly welcome anyone else who feels they would like to give time to support these families. If you are interested, Alison Bates will be around after church today to talk over the plans with a cup of tea and hopefully some nice home baking!

Student Minister: Gary Wallis, student minister will be at St Paul's from 8th June for his 10 week summer placement.

Christian Aid: many thanks to the congregation for the amazing amount of £1544.30, with an additional £271.25 Gift Aid which was raised last month, making a grand total of £1815.55.

Prayer Group: at our meeting tomorrow evening (7:30-8:30), there will be a special focus on prayer for the schools in our community and this will be led by SU Scotland.

New Group: we are planning for the first meeting of our new group which is for parents/carers of pre-school children (children welcome too) to be this Tuesday (9th June). If you are interested in coming, please contact Rev. Lynsey Brennan or Carol Gibson.

Guild Afternoon Tea: if you would like to come to the afternoon tea at Caulders, Mugdock on Monday, 15th June at 2:30pm, please contact Kate Seller either at 0141 463 0857 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Cost is £16:50 (not including tip).

At Ease Coffee Morning on Saturday, 27th June (10:00-12:00): we are planning to invite the families involved with At Ease for a joint coffee morning with our congregation. The coffee morning will play a big part in helping us all get to know each other. We would love to raise as much money as possible at the coffee morning for some sensory play equipment for the children to help support them weekly. The equipment could be used throughout the busy church week and will help St Pauls become inclusive and welcoming for anyone who walks in through our doors.

As we are a small group, we would really appreciate offers of help and/or donations of baking and there are sign-up sheets at the back of the church if you think that you can help us.

Church Flowers: if you know of anyone who would appreciate getting a bouquet of flowers from the church, following our morning services, please either speak to Elizabeth McEwan or contact the office (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
