Annual Leave: Rev. Lynsey Brennan will be on annual leave from
6th – 20th July. Any pastoral needs during this time should be addressed to Rev. John MacGregor or Rhona Raeburn (Session Clerk).
Next week’s morning service: this service will be conducted by Rev. John MacGregor and Bob Harvey will be our organist.
Devotional Guides: these can be used in individual or group devotions and copies are available outside the office.
Summer Nights: join the walking group this Wednesday at 7pm. We will meet up at the drinking fountain at Milngavie Reservoirs. All welcome to come along for a walk, chat and fellowship.
Faifley Upcycling: is in great need of all household items including mugs, plates, bowls or cutlery. If you can help out in any way, can you please bring them and leave them in the Large Hall. If you wish to know anything further, please speak to Brian Adair or Jean Scott.
Holiday Club: we are still looking for volunteers to help us cover the holiday club rota for the children during the summer period. We do have someone to lead each Sunday but need extra help is required. Please contact Matthew, Sue or Alison if you can help.
Youth at The Way: we are looking for a team to help with the youth during our monthly The Way evening services. Please let Matthew or Alison know if you can help.
With regret we note the following deaths:-
Mrs Anne McPhie on Thursday, 18th June. There will be a service of thanksgiving at Maryhill Crematorium (Small Chapel) on Wednesday, 22nd July at 11:30am.
Mr John Macpherson on Saturday, 20th June. There will be a service of committal at Langfaulds Cemetery at 11:00am, followed by a service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s at 12:00 on Friday, 17th July.
Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
Children & Youth: keep an eye out for news of activities on offer over the summer for our young people and children.
Zoom Safeguarding Training: if any Trustees or volunteers who were unable to attend the recent Safeguarding training sessions wish to complete the training on Zoom, please contact Elizabeth McEwan for joining instructions.
At Ease with ASD: many thanks to everyone who helped to raise the fantastic amount of £1398.71 at the coffee morning. Please join me in praying that the equipment we buy will enrich the life of St Paul's and ensure we are an inclusive and supportive place of worship, Alison Bates.
Volunteers for the AV team: please consider volunteering to help run the audiovisual system during services, especially anyone with computer skills who can run the slides. If you can help, please get in touch with Carla MacAllister or Stephen Thoms.
The Big Clean: Come along and help clean our chairs this Friday from 10:00am. If you can come and help, please bring your own cleaning gloves if you use them. All welcome, many hands make light work!!
